Vegvisir - Viking compass

An ever popular Nordic symbol: the Vegvisir. Often referred to as the Viking compass. A simple translation then leads to "signpost". The Vegvisir is often represented with runes from the Nordic alphabet.
Another frequently used spelling is Vegvísir, which corresponds to the Icelandic spelling.
