Jörmungandr - the Midgard Serpent

Jörmungandr, also known as the Midgard Serpent, is an important figure in Norse mythology. As the child of the trickster god Loki and the giantess Angrboda, Jörmungandr plays a central role in the myths and legends of the North. This gigantic serpent encircles the world and holds it together, while at the same time posing a threat to the gods. Its close connection to Ragnarök, the end of the world, makes Jörmungandr a fascinating and terrifying figure in Norse mythology.
